1. This is commonly done in martial arts, where certain sounds are made to exert more force in a strike. Sound can also be calming. When we studied jujitsu there were certain sounds we would use when wrestling to calm the opponent and make their physical body more naturally compliant to a submission.
2. You can always use music or mantra to calm or invigorate your physical body. Calming music at night or for a massage works wonders, and upbeat music can really get your body moving and invigorate it with energy.
3. Communication is essential in creating tangible results. If a project is stuck it is possible that the ether element is also stuck; communicate and communicate some more, and things will likely get moving. Ether being the midway element between the subtle and the physical plays a key role in “translating” or “transferring” the beliefs, desires, and inspirations from the subtle domain into actual physical tangible actions and results. This translating or transferring of subtle intentions into physical results is done in two ways. One way is through communication. Though ether is sound, communication does not have to be audible to be part of the ether element. Subtle, indirect indications between like-minded individuals, visual presentations, Morse code, and so forth are all counted as ether. The other ways in which ether causes action and results in the physical domain is through causing the movement of the air element, as previously described.
2. To affect the subtle domain:
Ether also has the ability to affect your mind/emotions, and that is often its primary use. An uncluttered tranquil and peaceful space is a requirement for anyone wanting to focus their mind. Such focus of mind and peace of emotions are essential both for the productive CEO and the reclusive mendicant spiritualist. If you are sincere on your spiritual path you must at least go through a time when you experience a complete harmony of space/ether and focus your mind on the divine in spiritual mantra meditation. Yes, it is possible and practically a crucial part of your spiritual evolution to learn to connect with the divine in peaceful meditation while acting in any situation, be it in a traffic jam, the middle of Manhattan, a war zone, or in the presence of your screaming baby. In truth the ability to do this fully takes a lifetime of practice, and a key part of such practice is to meditate in an ether-balanced environment, which is steady and supportive for focused meditation. Monastery temples are often so tranquil because such tranquility is essential in the beginning stages of meditation. Spiritual seekers often retreat from the world and go to peaceful, clutter-free places such as the Himalayan Mountains to meditate and perfect their spiritual evolution. But we on the path of Passionate Enlightenment realize that there is a higher order of being than simply retreating from the world and needing tranquility for spiritual evolution. We have much more practical and powerful processes to advance our spiritual being.
